Congratulations to SAMHSA MFP/ANA alumna Dr. Cheryl Woods Giscombe on her election to the National Academy of Medicine. Dr. Giscombe was elected for “influencing national guidelines as a leading scholar on mental health, resilience, clinical wellness & mind-body research. Her groundbreaking accomplishments include development of the interprofessional Leadership Institute for Mental Health Equity, the “Superwoman Schema” theory, and bio psychosocial solutions for stress-related health inequities.”
