Tajudeen Kolawole, MSN, MBBS, MPH, RN graduated as an MSN Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner student with a minor in Nursing Administration from the University of Pennsylvania in August 2020. Mr. Kolawole earned a BSN from Gwynedd Mercy University in 2018 and MPH in Health Policy and Management from University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2008. He obtained a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery, MBBS from University of Maiduguri Nigeria in 2000.
Mr. Kolawole presently works as a psychiatric registered nurse at Einstein Medical Center and Friends Hospital, Philadelphia, PA. Prior to being a nurse, he provided direct care services to individuals with mental and substance use disorders as well as intellectual disabilities in group home and residential settings for about ten years. He also monitored clinical trials under multiple clinical research organizations and sponsors for over four years. His international experience includes public health and primary care practice. Upon board certification, Mr. Kolawole will make a difference by serving the underserved populations with mental and substance use disorders in rural communities.
He is a member of the American Nurses Association, ANA, and the Pennsylvania State Nurses Association, PSNA.
