ScD, MPH, MSN, ACNP-BC , Doctoral (Alumni)
Jacqueline Mosley, ScD, MPH, MSN, ACNP-BC graduated with a Doctorate in Science (ScD) from Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine on May 15, 2015, in New Orleans, LA. Her dissertation, The Economic Burden of Comorbid Serious Mental Illness and Chronic Non- Communicable Disease in Working Age Adults in the United States, consisted of an economic analysis that applies Donabadien’s Quality Framework to identify specific deficiencies in the structure of healthcare delivery and processes of care that contribute to poor outcomes among minority geriatric patients with serious mental illness and/or dementia who experience acute care hospitalization. A mix methods approach allowed Dr. Mosley to include patients’ perspectives on the quality of medical care received and perceived needs related to cognitive and medical outcomes.
