Linares is preparing to start a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) in Lifestyle Medicine at Southern Adventist University in August 2026. This DNP degree emphasizes the use of evidence-based lifestyle interventions for health promotion, disease prevention, and chronic illness management. By adding the DNP in Lifestyle Medicine to Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, she seeks to develop a holistic approach that treats the mind and body as interconnected and, consequently, positively impacts the patients' healthcare outcomes.

Linares aspires to become a leader committed to transform and innovate behavioral health, while enhancing behavioral health outcomes and inclusion for communities.
