Malika Lowe, RN, BSN, is a dedicated Registered Nurse currently in her second year of graduate studies at Wilkes University, where she is pursuing a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) degree.
Lowe's academic and professional focus centers on improving access to mental health care for populations with unmet needs and advocating for greater autonomy for Advanced Practice Nurses (APNs).
With a strong foundation in clinical nursing, Lowe is committed to addressing unmet healthcare needs by promoting inclusive and accessible mental health services. She is passionate about advancing the role of nurse practitioners in the community, empowering them to practice to the full scope of their education and training to better meet the growing mental healthcare demands of populations with unmet needs.
