Major Career Goals:
*To conduct clinical research on health outcomes of family caregivers.
*To provide leadership in the education of advanced practice students in psychiatric mental health nursing and improve the lives of persons' at risk and those who are in need of mental health services.
Long-Term Research Interests: Maintain and Improve Health of Family Caregivers of persons with chronic illness (dementia).

Consultant: Served as consultant to faculty re. Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program at the University of Texas Medical Branch (August 2003).
Associate Professor: Drexel University, (formerly: MCP-Hahnemann University), Philadelphia, PA, July 1997- present. Developed and coordinate the Psychiatric Mental Health NP program. (This program is on-line)

Responsibilities: Provide psychotherapy to persons and/or families and psychiatric consultation to ob-gyn medical practitioners in management of depression & anxiety symptoms and disorders of women and families in dealing with life-threatening illness, sexual dysfunction, fetal demise, sexually transmittable disease, menopause and unplanned pregnancies.
