Bailey’s professional focus is rooted in advancing mental health inclusivity for communities with unmet needs. Through her PMHNP training, she is committed to providing culturally responsive, trauma-informed psychiatric care that directly addresses the social determinants of mental health and the persistent and disproportionate challenges faced by populations with unmet behavioral healthcare needs. Her work is aligned with advocacy to ensure accessible, inclusive care and amplifying the voice of  communities with unmet needs.

Across her educational, clinical, and teaching roles, Bailey seeks to bridge practice and policy in mental health nursing to empower individuals and communities, build capacity, and foster resilience.
